All I Want for Christmas is a Werewolf
By Liana Brooks
Del is anti-Christmas. She would rather have three months of Halloween. Her ideal man? A werewolf. But not everyone understands this. She tries to avoid her well-meaning, matchmaking, Christmas loving, hemiparasitic shrub obsessed co-worker by telling her she is getting a dog.
This is a short, fun-filled rom-com that I thoroughly enjoyed. If you’re looking for your typical werewolf romance book, this is not it. There are a lot of loose ends at the end, but I believe that was deliberate to allow for growth later on in other books tied to this one. It was a bit frustrating for me, but it also leaves me wanting more so I’m looking forward to the next installment.
Over all, it’s a light read but a good palate cleanser from more serious or dark genres.
