Jean Johnson lives north of Seattle with her cat, her cousins, and her computer. At the moment, she’s learning to deal with various chronic illnesses, which have slowed down her productivity. But she’ll never stop writing, never fear; the plotbunnies are far too prolific and too vociferous to allow that to happen.
With the ebook market gradually overtaking traditional publishing, she’s actually free to produce different kinds of stories that just were not as easily publishable, before. Like traditional comic strips versus webcomics, the electronic format will allow her to expand stories. And yes, she’ll miss paper books (that smell is so wonderful, isn’t it?), but hey, this way a library of 2,000 books will be 100% pocket-portable!
