Hi there. I know I am new, but I have been reading all the blogs for a while. I also know The Master is old news. But I do have a theory.
(Jean get out the popcorn.)
I think Serina is carrying twins, a boy and a girl. When the first couple said the blessing in the fountain they said "Give us fine daughters with all the powers of their brothers." (This is the part that gets a little iffy). What if they had a daughter from that union. Now Dom and Serina said "Give us good sons and daughter with all their own powers. Could Serina have a girl and a boy that both grow to be strong mages?
This probably sounds pretty stupid since we don't know exactly what the sex of the child of the first couple was but my sister and I have been throwing around this theory. |

Doesn't sound stupid at all. We won't know for certain until Serina pops, but in the meantime, we're free to speculate. Jean's a popcorn addict. _________________ In order to be old and wise, you must first be young and stupid. |

This is a good insighted thought. I had not even speculated to that degree until now. New eyes with a fresh view is always good for the rest of us. Keeps us on our toes....and if Jean doesn't spill and give a hint sometime before DEC. I may just start throwing popcorn at her until she caves and give a teeny weenie itty bitty hint or glimpse... Yes, it could...but I'm making no guarantees, other than that every single loose plot-thread I could find is either woven in by the end of book 8, or neatly tied off in a decorative fringe.

Well, at least we know that at some point all of our speculations and questions will be answered. As much as I can't wait to have everything all wrapped up, I'm probably going to cry when it is over... _________________ Boredom is the root of all evil. I know what you mean, Key! I want to know what happens, but I don't want it to end. _________________ In order to be old and wise, you must first be young and stupid. |

Exactly! And Jean's moving on to different things after these books, so it's not even like there more coming eventually... ... _________________ Boredom is the root of all evil. This can be traced back to the very beginning of the world. The gods were bored; therefore they created human beings.

But there will be other stories to enjoy! New characters, new situations, new countries and new continents and even whole new worlds to explore!
