Okay, I've admitted that "The Frog Prince" is one of the *cough* revised stories in here. What's your guess on the other ones? Which ones would you like to see...and if they're not in this one, then in the next one?

Hadn't considered Goldilocks...lol, for this go-around. It'd be kinda hard to make it an erotic romance...though erotic, yes, I could handle that...

If you're still looking for brainstorming ideas with myths or fairy tales as the basis of another anthology there are two stories from ancient history which may have potential.
King Etana was a Sumerian and he was alive during the first dynasty of Kish. In the third dynasty of Kish the ruler was Queen Kubaba (Kug-Bau).
There's a written account of Etana's inability to produce a son and his desperate pleas to his god Shamash to grant him an heir. During the same time as the king was praying for a son the god interceded in a war between an eagle and a serpent.
Twists on the storyline could be with a shapeshifting eagle and serpent. The eagle could easily be a Wyvern or a Roc and the serpent a Nixe or an Unhcegila.
Another twist, King Etana could have been cursed by Shamash for his ascension to the heavens and then forced to live immortally or be time shifted into the timeline of Queen Kubaba. She may have been blessed by Shamash since her reign was peaceful and the Greeks and other cultures incorporated her into their myths as Kybebe.
But creatively thinking just how happy was the only female monarch who lived during a time of war and how easy was it to rule a sanctuary city?
Anyway...both seem to have an interesting platform for brainstorming. Their lives were mighty enough to be passed down through history and although a bit obscure the Myth of Etana or the story of Queen Kubaba allow for a bit of...erm, artistic latitude.
