#BlackLivesMatter

I chose this photo to help explain why Black Lives Matter. It is the easiest way to explain to those who may not get it. While Jean and I have differing views on our beliefs, we do agree that this is the perfect definition.

I have linked a list from Dani Duck: Artist Obscure that she posted on her blog. It is a (short) list of recommended books by authors of color. I encourage every one to support these writers and read one or more of the books. Thank you to Dani for gathering and posting the list.

If you’re in the states and want to know more how you can help, please use the following link. It’s a list of resources for anyone who wants to know, to help, to donate… etc. Click HERE

Outside of the US, you can contact Black Lives Matter Global Network for resources in your country, or to find out how you can work with the network by volunteering or donating.

“Tell me how to do better.” Jean and I agree that this is not necessarily the best phrasing. In a nut shell, the author is saying “If I’m wrong – let me know.”

Jean and I stand with our siblings of color.

We see you, we hear you and we are there for you.
